Upcoming Deadline for DVRPC Grant
Deadline: September 1st
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission offers a Transportation and Community Development Initiative (TCDI) grant, which qualified municipalities can used towards planning projects in their communities. TCDI grants can fund a range of activities with outcomes to improve quality of life, support local planning projects, and enhance and appropriately use existing infrastructure to its best use. Some examples include: revising land use regulations to better accommodate businesses, developing a "Complete Streets" strategy, zoning code revisions to allow for mixed-use, form-based and transit-oriented development, identifying and marketing transit-oriented housing in your area, highlighting sustainable resources in your area, and identifying and planning adaptive reuse opportunities. Right-Sized Homes, a sustainable redevelopment specialist, and Brown & Keener, an urban design and planning firm, offer consulting and planning services and are able to help your municipality define a project, prepare your submission to DVRPC, and implement your project throughout its duration.
