Preservation Alliance to Host 2011 Citywide Neighborhood Preservation Conference

THE 2011 Citywide Neighborhood Preservation conference is set for FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2011 at Temple University Student Faculty Center, 3340 N. Broad Street. This year's focus is "Preservation and Planning" as Philadelphia embarks on its citywide planning and zoning remapping.

 
The one-day conference attracts neighborhood leaders, community developers, and preservationist from all around Philadelphia to discuss current issues facing neighborhoods and those seeking to revitalize them.
 
Conference Registration is only $20 per person and includes continental breakfast and lunch. Attendees can choice from six educational sessions and two facilitated discussion where the Alliance gets to hear from the grassroots. This year's conference also features the Alliance's "How to Look at Neighborhood" training which qualifies nonprofit groups for a $1,500 seed grant.
