Planning Commission Seeks Input on Community Planning Guidelines
The Philadelphia City Planning Commission has proposed Community Planning Guidelines for plans prepared by CDCs, and other non-profit organizations or planning agencies. Plans that meet the guidelines can receive recognition for the Philadelphia City Planning Commission and related benefits.
PACDC’s Policy Committee provided feedback on an earlier draft of the guidelines, and PACDC and several other organizations commented in support of the guidelines when they were proposed at the Planning Commission’s January meeting. The City Planning Commission is expected to consider approval of the guidelines at their February 16th meeting.
