PHA Selects Michael P. Kelly as Interim Director
The Philadelphia Housing Authority has announced that it has retained Michael P. Kelly to serve as interim director. Mr. Kelly is the general manager of the New York City Housing Authority and will return to that position once a permanent PHA director has been selected. Mr. Kelly has decades of experience in public housing and has previously served as the executive director of the Housing Authority in the cities of Washington, D.C., New Orleans, and San Francisco. In Philadelphia Mr. Kelly will serve for at least six months with the option to extend his contract for a full year.
