PACDC's Annual Awards: Call for Nominations

Showcase your success and win recognition from your peers   

Nominations for these prestigious PACDC awards will close 5:00 p.m. February 14.  Winners will be recognized at PACDC’s 20th Anniversary Gala and Awards Ceremony on Thursday evening, April 19, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.  Here’s how to do it:

  

PACDC's BLUE RIBBON AWARDS for Excellence in Community Development
Nominators are encouraged to submit entries that showcase a CDC's neighborhood success stories. The highly sought-after recognition for excellence in community development will be given in two categories:
2012 Blue Ribbon Award for larger organizations; and,
2012 Blue Ribbon Award for smaller organizations.

PACDC's COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD
PACDC will recognize an individual volunteer who has made a significant difference in the quality of life in his/her community.

PACDC's RISING STAR AWARD
PACDC will recognize young leader(s) under 40 with a minimum of three years experience in Community Development. The winners will receive free training from NeighborWorks America.

  • PACDC’s activities have culminated in more than $140 million in new resources for affordable housing and neighborhood economic development efforts.

  • The Philadelphia Housing Trust Fund has raised more than $67 million in revenue since September 2005 to expand housing opportunities for Philadelphia families.

  • The CDC Tax Credit Program has fostered 30 partnerships between businesses and CDCs that is providing $30 million in new funding to support neighborhood economic development.

  • PACDC’s Member Services programming builds the capacity of CDCs through technical assistance and training, the sharing of ideas, best practices, and promotion of the local CDC industry.
