PACDC’s activities have culminated in more than $140 million in new resources for affordable housing and neighborhood economic development efforts.
OARC's Participation in Greenfest a Success
The Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation participated in the CBS Greenfest on April 16th as an “Eco-Friend” partner. This event, which took place along West River Drive, ran in partnership with the 30th annual 5K Run for Clean Air, the region’s most high-profile Earth Day event.
OARC’s participation included 20 Greenfest promotions across five stations from April 4th - 16th as well as 30 30-second commercials airing after “Green Tips” on KYW Newsradio 1060 and on KYW1060.com. Together, the five CBS Radio stations reached an audience of more than 2.5 million listeners. The corporation was also featured on cbsphilly.com/greenfest and had a table at the Greenfest event, where they interacted with residents and visitors who were interested in environmental issues.
Numerous radio stations, personalities, and activities contributed to the success and reach of Greenfest, including KYW, as well as 98.1 WOGL, 94. WYSP, 610 WIP, and PHT 1210.
