PACDC’s activities have culminated in $180 million to date in new resources for affordable housing and neighborhood economic development.
New Brochures from the Department of Banking

The Pennsylvania Department of Banking has just published a new consumer information brochure that your agency may find useful. “Home Ownership in Tough Times” lays out four steps for home owners who are struggling to pay their mortgage. It also touches on ways for a home owner to move out of their homes without creating additional financial woes.
The department has also updated its “Buying a Home” brochure, which offers information on the process of purchasing a home. The brochure provides consumers with resources they may not have otherwise considered, like the PA Department of Banking, and other state and federal regulators.
For your convenience click on the links above to check out the brochures. I hope you find the information timely and useful. If you would like printed copies of these or any of the other brochures the department offers at no cost, please let me know.
We are in the process of updating one more brochure – “Protecting Yourself from Identity Theft.” As it becomes available, I will be sure to share it with you.
