PACDC’s activities have culminated in more than $140 million in new resources for affordable housing and neighborhood economic development efforts.
Land Bank Legislation Introduced
In City Council February 2, Councilmembers Quinones-Sanchez, Green, Jones and Henon introduced an ordinance to establish the Philadelphia Land Bank. This Bill (#120052) has been referred to Council’s Committee of the Whole and can be downloaded from the City’s web site http://legislation.phila.gov/attachments/12615.pdf. PACDC worked with the Councilwoman’s office to draft the legislation – one of our priority goals – to streamline reuse of vacant and blighted property. This “At-A-Glance” fact sheet is useful in educating stakeholders.
