PACDC’s activities have culminated in more than $140 million in new resources for affordable housing and neighborhood economic development efforts.
Knight Arts Challenge
The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation is investing $9 million in innovative arts ideas that engage and enrich Philadelphia's communities. To date, 36 ideas have been awarded $2.7 million.
Great ideas can start anywhere, so the challenge is open to everyone. Whether you're an established arts institution, independent artist or collective, small business owner, service organization or individual – they want to hear from you.
No idea is too large or too small, as long as it follows three basic rules:
- Your idea is about the arts.
- Your project takes place in or benefits Philadelphia.
- You find other funding to match the Knight Foundation grant (within a year).
Applications will be accepted from Oct. 3 – 31.
Be sure to visit KnightArts.org to find out how you can submit your idea.
Want to stay up to date on Knight Arts initiatives? Have a question about the challenge? Be sure to like Knight Arts on Facebook and follow @KnightArts on Twitter.
