Philadelphia Announces $27 Million More Dollars in Grants and Loans
Thursday, January 28th, 2010Philadelphia will be recieving $27 million more dollars in Federal stimulus money. The money will be used to assist small businesses build and become more energy efficient.
The additional money will be used to fund four programs:
1. $4.5 million in gap-financing for the completion of projects in development. An informational session will be held 1 pm February 5th at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) on the 26th Floor of 1500 Market Street.
2. $9 million in energy assistance loans. An informational session will be heldĀ 2 pm February 5th at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) on the 26th Floor of 1500 Market Street.
3. $500,000 in energy assistance rebates. An informational session will be heldĀ 2 pm February 9th at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) on the 26th Floor of 1500 Market Street.
4. $13 million to finance new construction, rehabilitation and expansion of existing facilities.
