"Springing Good Intentions Into Action"
March 22-25, 2012, Schuylkill River Watershed (Philly area)
The Home Grown Institute distinguishes itself as COMMUNITY-Centered, SKILLS-Focused and no-nonsense ACTION-Driven. In addition to incredible programming, all registrants will get to take home either a rain barrel, a backyard composter or an Earth Box. (We're not kidding about the "action.")
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Deadline to submit proposals is October 5th, 2011 (firm!)
Presenters are invited to submit proposals for activities addressing home-scaled sustainable practices - classes, field trips, conversations, demonstrations, contests, films, collaborative art projects - on subjects related to any part of the Compost-to-Compost cycle (compost, garden, harvest, kitchen, pantry, table, fork and back to compost)
