Hearing Expected on Philadelphia Housing Trust Fund Bill
The Pennsylvania Senate Urban Affairs and Housing Committee is expected to hold a hearing by the end of September that will include consideration of House Bill 639, regarding the Philadelphia Housing Trust Fund.
Passage would authorize the City to implement the local ordinance approved in December 2009 that would generate approximately an additional $4 million annually for the Philadelphia Housing Trust Fund to address local housing needs.
The bill, sponsored by Representative Taylor, was approved by the House in April.
