Forward Equitable Development Conference: Building Stronger Neighborhoods Now and For The Future

"Each and every one of us has the power to improve the places we hold in common, whether we are concerned with the neighborhood, city, nation or planet." - Keynote Mindy Thompson Fullilove, M.D.

Join more than 200 community developers, educators, artists, health care providers and researchers committed to working toward a more equitable Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 28th for our first annual full-day Equitable Development Conference. The day will be split between the Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC) and its neighbor across the street, Temple University - Center City Campus.  The opening keynote address will be given by Dr. Mindy Fullilove, author of Rootshock.  Learn more about Dr. Fullilove here. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and a networking event at Dilworth Park Beer Garden.

In addition to the keynote by Mindy Fullilove, and a panel discussion on gentrification, there will be a series of afternoon workshops (details forthcoming). View a full agenda for the day here, and a sneak peak of the concurrent workshops here.

Early Bird Tickets will be on sale until Friday, May 19th.  All regular registration begins on May 20th. The ticket price will increase to $99 for PACDC members and $129 for non-members.

PACDC would like to thank Public Health Management Corporation, Temple University Center City, the Philadelphia Division of Housing and Community Development and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia for partnering in the planning and convening of the Equitable Development Conference.
