Department of Human Services to Issue RFQ for New Service Model
DHS to issue RFQ for new service model

Improving Outcomes for Children: A Community Partnership Approach to Child Welfare (IOC) is an important new initiative of the Philadelphia Dept. of Human Services aimed at further improving the safety, permanency, and well-being of the children and families DHS serves.
The primary objectives of IOC are to:
• Create an enhanced model of service delivery with distinct, clearly defined, and well-understood roles for DHS and provider staff; and
• Engage communities as integral partners in our work in order to strengthen the services provided to children and families in these neighborhoods.
During the week of January 30th, DHS will be releasing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) related to Phase 1 of its Improving Outcomes for Children Initiative. The RFQ will be posted on the Department’s Public Website at http://www.phila.gov/rfp/.
