Corporate Counsel Provide Free Legal Clinic for Small Businesses
Philadelphia LawWorks, a project of Philadelphia VIP, will sponsor the sixth annual Corporate Pro Bono Day (CPBD) on November 17 at The Enterprise Center. Free counseling for small business owners will take place from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
CPBD provides small business owners the opportunity to discuss immediate and ongoing legal matters with corporate legal counsel from various Philadelphia-area businesses. Corporate Pro Bono Day will be hosted by The Enterprise Center, a minority business incubator program located in the historic American Bandstand Building in West Philadelphia at 4548 Market Street. Small businesses must pre-register by November 11 to attend. No walk-ins will be accepted. For pre-registration or questions, please contact Theresa Brabson at jvolunteer@phillyvip.org or 215-523-9567. Small businesses must arrive by 11am to be provided with free counseling. Registration and snacks will be provided starting at 10:30am.
