PHILADELPHIA ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS

PACDC has compiled a database of all known Community Based Organizations in Philadelphia (now over 500), from neighborhood organizations that are active in physical development projects such as housing and commercial development to groups that organize activities such as cultural events, town watches, and block parties. We provide contact information for all organizations listed, and for PACDC Members, we provide some more detailed information about organizational programs and the areas they serve.

We currently provide four search methods to view Community Based Organizations in Philadelphia.

Zip Code Search:

First, you can view CBO's alphabetically. Rather self explanatory, this search produces a contact listing of CBO's in alphabetical order. This is a perfect search if you're looking up information on a specific organization.

Second, you can view CBO's geographically. This search produces a list of all CBO's located in each of the 12 Planning Districts, or in each Zip Code of Philadelphia. This search is perfect if you're trying to locate an organization that operates in a specific neighborhood.

Third, you can view CBO's organizationally. This search produces a listing of organizations that conduct similar activities, generally categorizing CBO's as suggested by their name. This search is perfect if you're trying to identify organizations that offer the same scope of services.
