CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

2011 COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD

AWARD DESCRIPTION

PACDC’s Community Leadership Award recognizes outstanding leadership by community members in advancing neighborhood improvement and revitalization.

NOMINATIONS

Nominations may be made only by a PACDC member in good standing (i.e. dues have been paid for calendar year 2011).  Nominees must be a community volunteer that exemplify a strong commitment to neighborhoods through active participation in important community issues and have a track record of accomplishment.   PLEASE NOTE: The nominee may not be a paid employee of a CDC organization. 

Nominators should complete the attached form concisely and send the nomination to PACDC: 

• Email your nomination form to:  blueribbonawards@pacdc.org with “Community Leadership Award” in the subject heading;
• Supplementary materials, including photographs, may be mailed to:  Community Leadership Awards, PACDC, 1315 Walnut Street, Suite 1600, Philadelphia, PA 19107.   

DEADLINE 

Submissions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011. A nomination receipt will be sent to you within 2 business days of your submission.  Please contact Pamela Bridgeforth at pbridgeforth@pacdc.org if you do not receive a notice within this time.

RECOGNITION

Finalists will be announced prior to PACDC’s 2011 Gala and Awards Ceremony Thursday, May 19, and they will be invited to the VIP Reception Tuesday, April 26.  The winner will be announced at the Gala and showcased in publicity, the PACDC Magazine and web site throughout the year.
